🧾 Refund & Return Policy
Thank you for shopping with us at TeaParlour. We want you to be fully satisfied with your order. Please read our return and refund terms carefully, in accordance with UK consumer protection laws.
🛍️ Matcha Powder & Perishable Goods
Due to the perishable nature of matcha and other tea products:
- We do not accept returns or exchanges on matcha powder or any opened food items.
- If your item arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us at info@teaparlour.com.uk within 48 hours of delivery with a brief description and supporting photos. We will arrange a refund or replacement where appropriate.
🧰 Matcha Tools & Accessories
We accept returns for non-perishable items such as tools and accessories (e.g. whisks, bowls) under the following conditions:
- Return requests must be made within 14 days of receiving your order.
- Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in a resalable condition.
- You’ll need the receipt or proof of purchase.
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
- Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of approval. If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note: Items returned without prior authorisation will not be accepted.
🎟️ Matcha Workshop Bookings
We understand that plans change. Please review our cancellation policy before booking:
- Cancellations 14+ days before the scheduled workshop: Full refund
- Cancellations 7–14 days before: 50% refund or a free reschedule (subject to availability)
- Cancellations within 7 days: Non-refundable, but may be rescheduled once at our discretion
- No-shows: Non-refundable and non-reschedulable
If TeaParlour cancels a workshop (e.g. due to illness or venue issues), a full refund or free reschedule will be offered.
Legal Note: If you booked online and your workshop is scheduled within 14 days of booking, by proceeding with your order you agree to waive your statutory 14-day cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, as the service is due to begin within that time frame.

- Your order number
- A brief explanation of the issue
- Relevant photos (if applicable)
